# Read the record behind the answer

Use the records for the question each can answer. A licence record, a drug review and a study report do different jobs.

## For the doctor’s licence

Use the first link to find the state medical board, which oversees doctors. The board’s own records show licences and any action against a doctor (source checked September 17, 2026).

## For the pharmacy’s licence

Use the pharmacy-search link below, then choose your state to check a pharmacy’s licence. The FDA, which oversees US medicines, provides these links to state records (page checked September 17, 2026).

## For drug approval and pharmacy-made medicines

The FDA review reports that no BPC-157 product has drug approval (checked September 28, 2026).

Groups asked the FDA to consider letting pharmacies use BPC-157 to make medicines, then took those requests back. The FDA page current April 22, 2026 records this and still warns about possible harm.

## For the human studies

The knee-pain report did not compare BPC-157 patients with people who received another treatment or none. This limit appears in the review checked September 28, 2026.

Public study records describe what researchers plan to do and how far the work has got. A record of a plan does not show that a treatment helped anyone.

## For the online assessment

The organisation that brings together state medical boards offers advice about online care. Its policy is guidance for boards, not a national law (source checked September 26, 2026).

## For an urgent reaction or a report

MedlinePlus explains severe allergic reactions and when to get emergency help. The National Library of Medicine provides MedlinePlus (page checked September 17, 2026).

MedWatch is the FDA service for reporting problems with medicines. Patients pay nothing to send a report (service checked September 17, 2026).

## For the tax rule and payment caution

The IRS tax guidance treats care for a medical problem differently from spending only for general health (checked September 26, 2026). This rule alone does not tell you whether a particular bill can be paid from a medical savings account.
